I accidentally left an important document in my room when I checked out. It was during an exhausting trip. I noticed it missing a day later. I freaked out. I decided to call the hotel and fortunately they found it and held it for me.
Also the shower is full blast and hot, which hasn’t been the case in other places I’ve stayed in Brazil

The Nacional is the new hotel in Rio Preto after their renovation they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner they are in a location that makes many things of the city accessible by Uber and near two of the cities shopping locations. The pool is an added touch. Any Business would enjoy having an event there.

The hotel is a pretty good bargain, but there are trade-offs. Breakfast is free, but essentially the same every day and with inconsistent quality. For example, some days there were lots of shell in the scrambled eggs. The location is inconvenient if you're looking for familiar places like Starbucks, Burger King, Taco Bell, but there is a nice lagoon park not too far away with a good walking/running trail and snack food stands. I was actually impressed with the shower - it had consistent and adjustable water temperature and pressure with good isolation and containment of the water and steam. Probably my biggest complaint was with the unreliable WiFi. I stayed for several days, but the WiFi passwords they gave me kept expiring after a day or so and then I would have to ask for a new one. It would stop working without any warning and once I was in the middle of a zoom meeting when it cut me off. They really need to improve how they manage WiFi access so guests have access for their entire stay without having to get new passwords all the time.

Pets cannot be left alone in the rooms while guests go outside the hotel. Please contact the hotel for further details. According to Brazilian Federal Law 8,069/1990, minors under the age of 18 cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than their parents, written authorization will be required for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with certified copies of their identity documents. All minors under 18 must also present a valid identification document with a photo, proving their identity and that of their parents. This document must be presented even if the minor is accompanied by their parents. In the case of a minor accompanied by only one parent, a notarized authorization signed by the absent parent, along with a notarized copy of that parent's identity document, will be required. The sauna in the unit is available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM – however, guests must inform the reception 20 minutes in advance for the sauna to be ready for use. We are undergoing renovations in the rooms until the end of the year.
