Just few miles from Adriatic cost
A very beautiful natural environment interaction, commodities as you are in your family home. Everything is very natural. Location in the very quite part of the town, but everything is just in the corner, with many restaurants on the creak of the rive. From there your have a good start to visit Sinj, Split, Trogir, Makarska and more.

"Anti-Stress": The "Saviour of the Human Race"
Having arrived tired and hot - too darn hot! - we were greeted by an impressive edifice with ample parking and cool, shaded lawn gardens. This is a family run stop-off and is well worth every penny. We were met with warmth and hospitality and a generous sampling of the distilled and homebrewn (is there such a word? - there should be!) liquid refreshment of our host Andy whose "piece de resistance" is a homemade spirit aptly named, "Anti-Stress" two glasses of which and you are left completely de-sensitised and content for the duration of the rest of your stay! Cheers folks, you made us feel like long-lost relatives and as you quite rightly stated, "...we arrived as guests and left as friends". I hope we find ourselves back that way sometime...

Family, hiking, biking, horse riding
Very family orientated. Clean and quiet. Inexpensive. 4 rooms with private bathrooms.
Nice 7km hike into Grab along the Cetina and 4km hike to Roman remains at Trilium. Country roads for biking, although I'm not a cyclist. Couple of good restaurants, with local dishes like wild boar, snails etc. plus more usual fare.
Ask nicely and Marija will prepare local home cooked diner.
The area is called the Zagora, and if you like to get off the 'tourist trail' and see some of the countryside this is the place. Definitely worth a few days. Only 40kms from the coast could be a really inexpensive alternative to a seaside hotel if you have a car.
You will need your Croatian language phrase book, it's not like the coast where everyone speaks German and English.
Great local fiestas. 1st Sunday in August in Sinj to see the Alkas, Sept 29th patron saint of Trilj and others. Mom's ask about the 4+ barbeques etc.
These are not tourist events so don't expect Disney type presentation, just fun, food, dance, local costumes and Klapa.

Hard to find - but worth it!
We spent one night at Marija's, on our way to the Plitvice Lakes.
We only found her house when a shopkeeper in the village pointed it out across two fields and a river... So detailed instructions would be helpful!
Once there we were excitedly welcomed, because Marija has few English visitors, and she lived in London for three years. She made proper English tea for us, while her husband pressed his home-made spirit drink on us.
Our room had a balcony looking on distant mountains, and my husband was given a tour of their large garden, where they are aiming at The Good Life of self-sufficiency. (We benefited from fresh-picked strawberries and home-made jams at breakfast-time).
Our room was large, and the bed was good. There was our own large shower room, and the shower was good and strong, the way we like them. The towels were few and small; but we wondered if that was because Marija has a lot of cyclists staying, and maybe the temptation to replenish their stock of clean towels gets too much for these fitness freaks? (We found the same elsewhere in Croatia, where 'rooms' are the normal let, and greatly used by cyclists - though why they want to toil up those mountain roads baffles us (???). Anyway, we strongly recommend Marija and her husband as hosts.

Muy mejorable
El pueblo está lejos de todo, pero pensamos que el precio compensaba la lejanía, nos equivocamos. Sería un buen precio si estuviese en otra ciudad. Al final el gasto en tiempo, gasolina y peaje acaba saliendo más caro que escoger otro alojamiento. La habitación descuidada y antigua. Baño cob malos olores. La puerta de la terraza rota y no se abría. El aire acondicionado hacia ruidos como si tuviera algo vivo dentro. La televisión de tubo con decodificadores que hacían ruido eléctrico y hubo que desenchufarlos. El propietario muy simpático, aunque no nos dio clave de la wifi y se olvido de darnos la llave.
