Uważaj na nieetyczne praktyki
Po pierwsze temperatura w pomieszczeniu była ustawiona na tak wysoką jak sauna, znaki w pokoju mówiły, aby nie wyłączać ogrzewania, więc nie zrobiłem tego, kolejny znak odradzał włączanie klimatyzacji, więc nie zrobiłem tego. Otworzyłem okno, ponieważ upał był nie do zniesienia. Przez cały weekend pogoda w Calgary wynosiła 3 stopnie. To spadło w poniedziałek, kiedy się wymeldowałem, ale nigdy nie wyłączyłem ogrzewania, więc gorąca woda przepływała przez rury i dlatego pękłaby tylko, gdyby były stare i źle utrzymane. Poprosiłem o dowód na pęknięcie rur, zdjęcia z mojego pokoju, a także rachunek wskazujący koszt i ukończone prace. Tego nigdy nie podano. Biorąc pod uwagę to objawienie, sugeruję, że opłaty te są naliczane w hotelu w celu zwiększenia przychodów, a nie rzeczywistych szkód, dlatego wzywam spółkę dominującą, która moim zdaniem jest Wyndham, do przeprowadzenia dokładnego dochodzenia w sprawie praktyk tego hotelu. Oczywiście skontaktowałem się z Better Business Bureau. Należy uważać i przeczytać opinie o tym hotelu przed dokonaniem rezerwacji, ponieważ może Ci się to przydarzyć.

We have sent you an email with all details on 25th Feb, 2020(email including pictures of busted pipe, water on carpet, plumbing company invoice, temperature history for that week). The temperature in Calgary was -7, -15 on 16th, 17th Feb. During your stay of 2 days we never received any complaint about heat in room from you or any other guest. After you checked out, housekeeper went to room and noticed thermostat at 0, windows wide open, water leaking from busted pipe. Our maintenance person cleaned all the water from the carpet of the room. It took him additional 3 hours to do that. The room was newly renovated and had new carpet. Due to that much hot water on the new carpet, room started smelling. Again our maintenance person had to shampoo the carpet to get rid of the smell and moisture in the room. Due to all this room was kept out of order for 3 days. No charges were put on the credit card for all this. The only charge we made to your credit card was the money we had to pay to plumbing company. I hope you will understand.

Thank you for staying with us and providing us with feedback. I am glad to see that you liked our rooms and location. Our renovations will be done by end of March and then we adding some features to control the sound from outside. We installed thicker under pad for carpet on second floor and we are getting door bottoms to stop sound from hallway. We are also installing small rubber pads in door jams so closing a door will not make much noise.
I hope you will consider us again on your next trip so we can serve you better.

I am sorry for any inconvenience but this a very basic practice in every hotel to take a pre-auth for $100 and then in case of any damages we can charge the card. And It is very hard to do a walk through with guests in 62 rooms. In your particular case, we have only charged $30 for a ripped curtain. This is not a penalty or fine. We have only charged to cover the cost of repair or new item. I hope you will understand.
