Casa Marieta
Located in Holguín, Casa Marieta is connected to a shopping center. Parque Don Quixote and San Jose Church are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at San José Park and Calixto Garcia Park. Natural History Museum and Museo de Historia Provincial are two other places to visit that come recommended. We were screwed by Expedia
Unknown to the owner, Marieta expedia had overcharged us by hundreds of Canadian dollars
If Expedia does. NOt reimburse me something it will be the last time that they get business from me !

Home away from home!
The house is located just a few blocks from the Centre of Holguin . Walking from the house to downtown Holguin is easy to navigate and only takes 10 minutes at most . There is a vegetable market and shops nearby if you’re not feeling like going too far .
The room was large and cleaned routinely . The room my wife and I had featured a nice queen size bed , satellite TV , air conditioning , a mounted fan, fridge , plenty of closet space and attached bathroom . We always had hot water , clean bedding and clean towels . The house also has a washing machine which Marieta offered us to use . The house has a full kitchen which is fantastic considering the markets nearby . Take advantage of that and save some money on dinners at the restaurants .
My wife and I will certainly be back to Holguin and we will always go back to Marieta’s house . I can’t say enough about how nice the owners are helping with directions, finding local restaurants, attractions and transportation .
If you’re in Holguin this is the house you want to stay at !
