My time at Sunshine Hotel Enugu

The hotel shines like it's name. I stayed in one of the Suites. It was spacious and very clean. Food was good though not many choices. Staff were friendly. The Pool was clean and safe. The manager very helpful and patient with us when we needed to extend our stay to extra day.

Whatever was the image on Expedia was not what I met on ground.
The staff were warm and friendly. However, the initial room I was checked into was very unkept. The lighting was poor and the room was very bland. I have to be relocated into another room where the toilet flooded while I had my bath. The sliding glass door almost fell and injured my wife. The service was good but the hotel was not in good condition.

A box of memories was kept

The room are very much comfortable
There complimentary breakfast is top notch. There is easy accessibility.
The room services are of international standard. Power supply is at it's best. It should be graded as a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel as it houses your hospitality needs

I have to check out after one night as the hotel has water issues. No constant water supply in the hotel which is very frustrating.

FAIR, NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

'Came with friends for a reunion event and spent 4 nights. The hotel is well located in the city (independence layout) and easily accessible from the airport. It is quite close to the once iconic Presidential Hotel (now defunct/dead). The facilities are generally ageing and need tune up. One of the elevators malfunctioned for two days ditto the stand-by generator for a while. The rooms (deluxe & above) are quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was fair but could do with more varieties. Sadly despite the worldwide ban on smoking and visible signs around, some questionable characters smoked all manner of substances (at night) inconveniencing others with the foul dangerous secondary smoke, particularly on the 5th floor. Complaints to the management made no difference. Not good!
