Historic home with modern amenities
The beautifully restored home was clean, bright and beautifully decorated. It’s a historic home with all the modern amenities. The bed was very comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. They provide everything to make you feel at home. Delicious breakfast and coffee and great conversations with Brian and Joan.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay with them and will be back soon.
It is definitely our go to place to stay in the Pittsburgh area now.

Wonderful stay at the Hickory House B & B
The Hickory House has been restored beautifully right down to the last detail. It looks like it should be featured in House Beautiful or Better Home & Garden magazines. The rooms were homey & cozy, & our bed was so comfortable. We slept very well. Joan & Brian did all they could to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast they provided was delicious. We had a choice of French Toast, bacon, Sausage, muffins, oatmeal, Juice & Coffee. The table setting was elegant and we felt like royalty. We were visiting family who lived in McDonald, Pa and they recommended the Hickory House to us. All we can say to Brian & Joan is Thank You, Thank You, Thank you! I would highly recommend The Hickory House to anyone travelling or staying in the area! We enjoyed our stay! Toni & Terry Feeney

The property is absolutely charming, with beautifully manicured grounds that provide a serene backdrop for relaxation. We opted for the Efficiency Guest House, which was a wonderful choice. The modern renovations were impressive, and we particularly appreciated the spacious closet and the well equipped bathroom. Everything was spotless and exuded a delightful fragrance, contributing to the overall comfort of our stay.
One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was perfectly heated. It offered a stunning view of the stars and the moon, creating a magical atmosphere for relaxation.
Overall, our experience at Hickory House B & B was nothing short of perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this exceptional property to anyone looking for a charming getaway. You won’t be disappointed!
