TLDR: AVOID!!
Let me preface this by saying I stayed in some sketchy hotels in the past. From hotels where your feet stick to the floor to one that had blood stains on the carpet. I knew when I booked this place that it was definitely not higher or even good quality. I was booking for price only as I do when I travel alone sometimes. unlike what I would usually expect, this place was sketchy for the management policies more than the hotel or location.
Let me preface this by saying I booked it through a third-party aggregator, like Expedia, as many do. That alone can create some issues, but most places have ironed that out in the day and age.
Check-in was smooth right up until the woman working asked for the deposit. Now this isn’t uncommon and normally you just give them a credit card to put a hold against. This place however would ONLY take $100 cash. That’s not at all fishy. Since Covid I rarely carry cash anymore so I was stuck having to use their ATM with a $3 fee on top of that. She then REFUSED to give me a receipt for the $100 saying it had my name on it in the register. And of course, if I didn’t like that, I could go somewhere else now that I had already prepaid so I would have to forfeit the three nights room rate. She said this was all the owners instruction and she just works there even though in my experience these repurposed hotels are usually family run and the owner is likely her husband. Sketchy.
First impression was the place smells like weed, which is interesting given only medical cannabis is marginally legal here. The room itself is about what you expect from a former Super 8 that’s now a deep discounted craptel. Pretty rundown that is. It had a faint smell of burnt electrical wiring. The sheets, pillow cases, and the bed spread had stains on them, but the TV and refrigerator both worked. I did find it funny that the coffee maker is from a Fairfield Inn, which isn’t even the same brand. The window lock was broken and a piece of PVC pipe is the only thing holding it close, but it was on the second floor. I wouldn’t be surprised to find hidden cameras, but I didn’t bother looking. Oh, and the back door doesn’t lock at all so anybody can come into the building at any time without having to go past the front desk.
I was fully expecting to have to call the cops at the end of my stay because the owner made up some reason to not give me my hundred dollars back.
While not in a bad area and certainly not the worst room I’ve ever stayed in, I think this place is clearly going for an hourly clientele.
As I said, avoid at all costs.

The worst place, I have ever stayed. The whole building smells horrible, it’s in very bad condition. There is stains and broken things all around. The front desk staff is very rude, they’ll force you to pay 100$ security deposit cash only. Very bad place, crack heads everywhere with police presence outside. Do not go.

Rude managers horrible rooms scam worthy check in
Absolutely stay away from this place! First interaction walking into the lobby to check in and the 2 people who greeted you were absolutely rude at check in. Made it a hassle to check in sounded angry that we went through a third party site instead of booking with them. When checking in as well you need a hundred dollar cash deposit that was never mentioned anywhere. They just so happen to have an ATM in the lobby. Pretty much a scam. The whole hotel stinks soo bad of awful incense that they burn right at the check in desk. The tub and shower were filthy. The window was broken the room door didn't quite shut all the way so definitely had to lock the latch. At check out as well had to wait for the staff to go check and make sure we didn't steal anything in order to get our cash deposit back. Overall experience was awful. Would give them zero stars if I could. Do not stay here
