Exceptional stay in suite with stunning views
Excellent stay at the Windsor! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is very professional and always attentive. The view from the rooftop is amazing, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Istanbul.

Would give it a solid 3.5 stars coming to 4 by Australian standards but wouldn’t call it a 5 star. A little messy, rough around the edges and clumsy service.
Had to ask a multiple times for help regarding a bath that didn’t hold water or lights that flicked annoyingly like strobe lights. Also I was by reception many times about my child coming, I don’t have a child and had to make that clear on multiple occasions !?
The facilities are actually nice , ie pool and baths etc but wasn’t really made aware or found in the maze of areas until the end to my trip :(
Breakfast was decent!

Great Stay at The Windsor
Currently staying at The Windsor hotel and so far have received an incredible service from the staff and hotel management. I travelled to Istanbul for a Hair Transplant which I was initially nervous for. Check in was fast and efficient. I did notice that night the room was a little warmer than I generally like and realised the A/C wasn’t working so I rang reception in the morning and they sent a technician up within 5 minutes. Unfortunately this did stop working again after 15 or so minutes so I called in to reception on the way to the restaurant. There was a few members of management stood at the reception (could tell this by their smart attire) so I was hesitant to approach but did as I don’t like warm environments especially having said procedure. The staff members and management were all extremely friendly and helpful. Did not once look at me like I was an alien (how I felt). They was all apologetic and offered me a room change. Given my state I was hesitant so I requested a fan which was in my room when I got back from dinner and the A/C was now also working. The rooms are really clean and comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you would require fridge is topped up with water daily. I ate out of the restaurant 1 evening during my stay and had the steak which was really good the service was great also again, no judgement I got into small talk with the lady regarding the procedure but no judgemental comments passed whatsoever. I had room service twice where I ordered the Cajun salad and the Club sandwich which were well prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great and had a lot of selection. Fresh omelette station to choose from which is generally what I opt for. The hotel is very well kept (Shame I never got to use the spa facilities as this looked really nice).

Mixed experience
We stayed at the hotel 2years ago. The room assigned to us was extremely small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. We were on the seventh floor with a view of the western side of Istanbul. Given that the hotel was not very crowded, I would have preferred a room with a better view.
On a positive note, the room was very clean, and it was tidied up every day during our five-day stay. The breakfast offered was quite impressive, featuring a good variety and quality of food that we enjoyed each morning.
The nearest metro station, Sagmalcilar, was about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, which made it somewhat inconvenient for getting around. Additionally, there were very few shops and restaurants close to the hotel, as the area seemed more like a business district rather than a tourist-friendly neighborhood. Consequently, the nighttime vibe was not as lively as in other parts of Istanbul.
I visited this hotel during the winter, and were pleased to find that the air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature.
In summary, while the cleanliness and breakfast were highlights of our stay, the small room size and location in a more administrative area were drawbacks that impacted our overall experience
