Check-in - not friendly at all.
Told us our room number, go onto the 5th floor (suites) and no room numbers on doors (all named). Had to try room key on every door until we found the right one.
Room felt dated, no remotes for the aircon, absolutely filthy toilet brush.
For £300 can’t say I was amused.
I advised in advance was here for a birthday celebration, no acknowledgement or anything.
Virtually every staff member we interacted with was not very friendly at all, made you feel like you were an inconvenience.
Got back to the hotel at 10:50pm with friends (also staying at the hotel) wanting to have a drink in the bar, was told it was closed. Asked if we could order drinks to the room, we were told no. What?!
We walked across the road to the Malmaison whose bar was full.
Breakfast - service slow, again not very friendly at all. Quality of food - average.
Everytime we walked passed reception, no acknowledgement or interaction.
Have met friendlier bailiffs.
In my opinion it was not worth the money at all and to be honest, there are better hotels across the city.
